This CD is an invitation to travel, carried away by the sound, through the exciting savannah of Africa: wildebeest and zebra grazing on the plains, lions fighting, night huntinghyenas, the hippo pool, forest elephants, monkeys and baboons many birds that fill the landscape with their voices and songs. In the savanna the activity of living beings and life is hectic, day and night, is reflected and detected many times through their voices.
The recordings that make up the CD took place in August and September, towards the end of the dry season period when the wildebeest start migrating south. The recordings were made in the National Parks and Biosphere Reserves: MassaiMara, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru in Kenya and Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara in Tanzania.
